Important Allied Waste Information
An open letter to the LJA membership

Dear Lake James Association Members:

LJA has negotiated a waste/recycling contract with Allied Waste of Ohio.  I would like to encourage all of the members who are currently using National Serv-All to switch to Allied Waste for several reasons.

National Serv-all would not negotiate a competitive contract with LJA until Allied came in.

Now they say they will match the Allied Waste contract price but they do not offer the same service for the same cost. Allied Waste offers unlimited waste and unlimited recycling for LJA member for $13.25/month.

National Serv-all did offer unlimited waste hauling and unlimited recycling services in one of their bids but it raised the contract price to over $26.00/month.

For these reasons I would urge you to switch to Allied Waste.

Above all, working with Allied Waste will strengthen the LJA, while working with National Serv-all will weaken our position.

Even if you don’t care about recycling, the Allied Waste contract will help pay for the benefit of recycling services for people who want to. This is at no cost to you.

Please consider changing as soon as this month is up or when you are able.
